Vista Aves Lodge is located just outside the town of Jicotea, near the small city of Turrialba.  The 4 bedroom lodge is situated on nearly 100 acres (38 Hectares) of land at an elevation ranging from 3394 ft (1035m) to 4100 ft (1250m).  The property was a former cattle ranch, so it still has many pastures, but also some very good, connected rain forest.  There is an extensive trail system, that makes it easy to use the whole property for hiking, wildlife viewing, horseback riding and birding. There is a pool and pool house, that houses an outdoor kitchen and bathroom. Our property manager lives in a house on the property just down the hill, and can help with any number of things you may require.
